What’s Possible with Zerona Week By Week – Dr. Don’s Personal Update
Ok so it is now time for an update…
If you will recall a little over 3 weeks ago I was discussed with myself and what the holidays (yes, I’m blaming the holidays) did to me and my waist!
You can look back at the other blogs to refresh your memory…
So, I decided to do want I prescribe to my patients.
What is that exactly?
Well it depends greatly on what I find out about you… having said that, this is what I did as I would have recommended to someone like me.
1 – I started with a cleanse that would last for 21 one days. It is a food elimination cleanse. In other words there are certain foods you eliminate from your selection of food. I was eating fish and chicken and lots of fruit and veggies. With that cleanse I also took nutrition and supplements that are specific to my lab results. (yes, lab results! That’s a topic for a whole different conversation/blog). During this cleanse I’m not counting calories… I’m not eating prepackaged frozen dinners… I’m not replacing meals with power protein shakes… I’m not starving myself. This is by far the best cleanse program out there! I’ve seen a lot!
2 – A week after, that I started the Zerona laser – every other day. 3 times per week. I did not get a lymphatic massage or digestive massage. Heck, it was hard enough for me to lay down for 40 minutes those there times per week. But I have to say that it was nice to sit back and do some casual reading. I did this for 2 weeks.
3 – the next step is to exercise. This I have not yet started… so let me give you the results as they stand now.
Results…
After 1 week I lost 9 pounds…
After 2 weeks I lost a total of 11 pounds…
em>After 3 weeks I lost a total of 13 pounds… and I’ve lost 3.25 inches to my waist and a quarter of an inch to my hips. I’ve only targeted the laser to my waist.
Once again I am very impressed with the effectiveness of the laser when combined with my nutrition protocol.
However, I’m not yet done! I want to now add exercising to my routine! That will be fun, the hardest part is making time to get it done. I’m going to shoot for 4 times per week, 30 minutes each time.
I’ll let you know the progress in a week or two…
I have to tell you of a bi-product of my doing this… My wife has been motivated to get back in shape too. Having a baby has left her with some unwanted fat and so she is going to approach things differently… I doubt she’ll be willing to let me share with you her numbers.
Another benefit is I feel so much better – more energy, more confidence knowing my close fit better… and heck, who doesn’t like to be asked “you’re looking great, what are you doing to lose weight.”
Blessings,
Dr. Troy Don, DC QME
